The idea. To stimulate biodiversity around the world (but starting in the Netherlands!) by encouraging everybody to make their bit of the world a bit more nature friendly and life supporting.
To encourage the re-greening of neighbourhoods, by a mixture of personal involvement, and local businesses, gemeentes, and the national overheid.
By recreating lost natural habitats,encouraging struggling native plants and animals and it is hoped by encouraging the hergebruik, (re-use ) of waste or unused public and private space to create vibrant new LIVING communities.
Participation would bring direct personal and health benefits through a healthy inter-reaction with nature.
